I’ll make this quick since I am very very excited: Shutter Stroll has just released on Steam and with that, I have launched a huge update here on itch as well! ✨

There’s too much in there to list, I’ll scream a few words, but you’ll have to play yourself to see all of it!

If you have installed the game via the itch.io App, please re-install it to make sure you get the update. Also please note: If you are a Linux player, the recommended way to play is to play the Windows build using Proton or Wine. It turned out that a lot of the improvements made it too time-intensive to support in a native Linux build, but using Proton was praised by our Linux testers! I have also opted to keep the old versions available (now called Shutter Stroll legacy), so you can still visit your islands from the old version!

And with that, I hope you enjoy this version of the game as much as I have spent making it, it’s been 4 years at this point, and I am immensely proud of everything that went into this update!
