The World-Changing Update of Shutter Stroll is approaching!
Greetings, Shutterbugs!
The wait is finally over! In just about a month Shutter Stroll will release on Steam! With the launch of the Steam version, the game is getting a huge update, changing any islands in the game and adding a ton of new content! I am beyond proud to finally bring this update to you all, it’s been a wild ride leading up to here, and I cannot await the day it launches! Even if you own the game already, wishlisting the game over on Steam would be a great way to support me making games by giving the algorithm a little push!
To commemorate the occasion, please enjoy this trailer featuring music by the talented adibabidan. It’s been wonderful working with them on the trailer, there’s no one that could better capture the vibes of the game.
When the game launches on Steam, the itch.io version will have its price adjusted to 5.99$. I think this is fair due to the time I have spent on it, and if you want it at the cheaper price you can buy it right now. I will of course not discontinue the community copies unless Steam takes any issue with it, but I’m sure they won’t :)
So, prep your boat! We’re arriving on the new islands September 6th!
See you between the monoliths! ✨

Any chance you can provide Steam keys? Using Proton is fine but Steam is the best UI for running games under Proton.
That’s sadly not possible due to me offering Community Copies – it would conflict with Steam TOS to offer free keys on another site, but I want to keep them for folks who might not be able to afford the game right now. If you’re on Steam, you can add the itch-version as a non-Steam game and launch it through Steam anyways!
Completely understandable. Thanks for considering it though.
I can’t wait!
